Establishing a price range before you begin to search for a new property will make the home buying process much easier. Pre-approval for a mortgage can be accomplished within a matter of hours; it's a quick and efficient way to let a seller know that you can afford the home when it comes time to make your purchase. Consider these six points when determining your price range:

• Your net income
• Cash-on-hand for a down payment, closing costs, and reserves required by the lender
• Outstanding debts
• Your credit history
• The type of mortgage you will select
• Current interest rate
• Determining which amenities and features you require will also help in beginning your search. Do you want more than one bathroom? A large kitchen? Making a “wish-list” will help you to fine tune your desires – and it will enable us to find your perfect home!

Once you've determined the type of property you want, we will begin to arrange location visits for you.
